Dr. Linda M. Campbell is an educator with experience as a principal and teacher in secondary education. She is also a business leader and adjunct doctoral chair/advisor. The Authors Showcase Series program provides a platform for members to discuss their books on YouTube and develop an audience for literary works. In addition to the video for marketing, the member also gets publicity and various promotional support from volunteers of the association by print, email and social media tools. More Information about the Author: Linda M. Campbell, Ed.D 

For eight years, Dr. Linda M. Campbell served as an adjunct Senior Educational (Doctoral) Chairperson/ Advisor at the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Education (SOE) in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Campbell is the President of Education Leadership Development Group (ELDG), a private consulting company founded to provide education leadership development to school administrators and teacher leaders in K-12 schools.  Through ELDG, she also offers a tutorial on-line e-course to assist doctoral students with dissertation development.  The course is offered on the Thinkific platform (dissertationprocess.Thinkific.com). She also provides doctoral dissertation consulting through the ELDG company. 

In addition to being a published author, Dr. Campbell is an experienced educator.  She served in the roles of high school principal, guidance counselor, academic dean, and secondary teacher over a span of 26 years. Regarding Higher Education, Dr. Campbell is an Advisory Board member on the National Council of Education and Human Development (NCEHD) at George Washington University in Washington DC. She is a scholarly proposal reviewer at the American Education and Research Association (AERA); member and proposal paper presenter at the University Council of Educational Administrators (UCEA) sponsored by the University of Virginia; member and research presenter to the Consortium for Research on Educational Assessment and Teacher Effectiveness (CREATE) sponsored by William and Mary College; and presenter to the Educational Symposium for Research Institute (ESRI) sponsored by the George Washington University. Dr. Campbell has participated on multiple occasions as a doctoral bootcamp” panelist and seminar presenter to doctoral and graduate candidates at George Washington University. 

 

As a researcher and educator, she developed research articles, papers, and book chapters on teacher leadership and its effects in schools.  Dr. Campbell has served in additional associations and on boards to include, member of the Education Law Association (ELA), the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) with an All Principal certification; Advisory Board member at Cedarville University; and a member of the school accreditation team for ACSI and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA). 

 

Dr. Campbell also has a managerial business background in Fortune 500 companies in telecommunications marketing and as a commercial bank officer. She is a published author of several educational books on time management, a study skills and techniques book for teens, an autobiography, and has published poetry in “The Sea of Tranquility” book slated for a NASA launch to the moon in 2025.    

Dr. Campbell received her Ed.D. Degree from George Washington University, specializing in Education Administration and Policy Studies; MA Degree from the University of Maryland College Park in Education Policy, Planning, and Administration; BA Degree from Virginia State University in Business Education; and MA degree from International Seminary in Religious Education. Dr. Campbell and her husband reside in Aventura, Florida.
